PAWS asks that student begin making cards for teachers in observance of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day on Feb. 1, 2010.

Calling all parents!! Send your suggestions now for topics for Dr. Steve Kahn to speak about at the PAWS parent morning coffee on April 20, 2010. Some suggestions received have included: bullying, conflict resolution at school and at home, and peer pressure. Please call PAWS President, Kathryn Strating, with suggestions at 612-866-1816. Mission Statement:
Parents Active With School (“PAWS”) is a community of faith-filled people sharing the same dreams and hopes for their children. PAWS is committed to welcoming all, and promoting family involvement and education.

Classroom Ambassador Job Description:
Individual classroom ambassadors will: (a) promote connectivity between school administration, teachers and parents, (b) serve as a mentor/liaison/resource to new and existing families, and (c) link with various school committees and functions to help promote the school. All classroom ambassadors will work together as an all-grade-level team, either on an ongoing basis, or year-to-year.
